Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington on December 10.
Axar.az reports that the meeting discussed the situation in the Middle East, as well as the current agenda and the possibilities of joint initiatives in Latin America and Africa.
Saar thanked the Secretary of State for his support and long-standing friendship with Israel. The parties also discussed the activities of the International Criminal Court in The Hague and its decisions regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant.
Speaking about the situation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli minister stressed that Jerusalem insists on the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of the enclave in accordance with the plan of American leader Donald Trump.
