Ukraine strikes Russian missile ship in Primorsk

Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck a Russian missile carrier and other naval assets in the port of Primorsk.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrinform, that Zelensky said Acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Major General Yevhenii Khmara briefed him on the successful destruction of enemy targets as part of a joint operation involving multiple Ukrainian security and defense units.

According to Zelensky, the operation struck a Karakurt-class corvette, a patrol boat, and a tanker belonging to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet.”

He added that significant damage was also inflicted on oil-loading port infrastructure.

Zelensky thanked Ukrainian forces for their coordinated actions, saying such operations reduce Russia’s military potential. He also stated that Ukraine had approved further “justified responses” to Russian strikes and reiterated that Russia could end the war at any time.
