Three Israeli nationals were killed when a light aircraft crashed in Maryland, several kilometers east of Washington, DC.

Axar.az reports, citing Times of Israel, the victims included the pilot and two passengers, all of whom died in the overnight crash.

The aircraft belonged to a local flight school and may have been conducting a training flight at the time.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and an investigation is underway.
