Troops to take part in military exercises in Poland starting July 20

Military exercises will begin next week in Poland’s Opole Voivodeship in the southwest of the country and will continue until the end of July.

The Opole Voivodeship administration issued a warning to residents and visitors, saying that from July 20 to 31 they may see military personnel and equipment in the region due to the drills, particularly on forest roads, and that this should not be a cause for concern, Caliber.Az reports via Polish media.

People have been asked not to photograph participants in the exercises or share such content online.

Authorities also reminded residents that a scheduled activation of air raid sirens and other public warning systems will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday (July 21-22). They stressed that the alerts will not indicate any actual danger this time.
