The head of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Church, Mikael Ajapakhyan, has been sentenced to two years in prison, APA reports, citing Novosti-Armenia.
According to the information, the verdict was announced by the judge at a court hearing held today, and it is possible to appeal the decision within a month.
Recall that Armenian Archbishop Mikael Acapakhyan was detained on charges of calling for the forcible overthrow of the government.
