Today, the names of 14 more missing martyrs whose identities have been confirmed will be made public, said Ali Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chief of the State Security Service. He made the statement during his speech at the international conference titled “Uniting Efforts and Enhancing Cooperation for Addressing the Issue of Missing Persons”, APA reports.
According to Naghiyev, after the completion of the relevant investigation, documentation, and legal procedures, information about another 50 missing martyrs will also be announced.
This step represents another significant stage in Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to clarify the fate of those who went missing during the years of conflict and to provide closure to their families.
