On the anniversary of the crash of an AZAL aircraft operating the Baku–Grozny flight near the city of Aktau on December 25, 2024, the graves of the crew members were visited at the Second Alley of Honor, APA reports.
AZAL President Samir Rzayev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, AZAL employees, and the family members of the deceased visited the graves of National Heroes Hokuma Aliyeva, Igor Kshnyakin, and Alexander Kalyaninov, who lost their lives, at the Second Alley of Honor.
Note that on December 25, an Embraer passenger aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, operating the Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. There were 67 people on board, including 5 crew members. As a result of the crash, 38 people, including citizens of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, lost their lives.
