Eurostat allocates 4.2 million euros for statistics in Eastern Partnership countries

The European Commission’s statistics body, Eurostat, has allocated EUR 4,229,150 for the implementation of the “Regional ENP East programme in statistics,” covering the Eastern Partnership countries, APA-Economics reports.

Azerbaijan is also included in the geography where the project is being implemented.

For this purpose, Eurostat has signed a contract with GOPA Worldwide Consultants GmbH. The duration of the contract is 36 months.

The program aims to provide services related to strengthening statistical capacity in the Eastern Partnership countries and improving the quality and accessibility of reliable and comparable statistical data.
