On February 20, the students of the weekend school operating under the Moldova Azerbaijanis Congress met their idol, People's Artist Emin Agalarov.
Ahead of his grand solo concert in Chisinau, Emin Agalarov dedicated time to engage with children of the Azerbaijani diaspora. The meeting, characterized by its sincerity and warmth, while atmosphere quickly transformed into one of joy and ease, fostering a lively and inspiring dialogue between the artist and the youth.
The event was also attended by Elchin Bayramov, Chairman of the Moldova Azerbaijanis Congress, alongside Council members Rahim Safarov and Gulnara Danachiyeva, teacher Saida Safarova, Congress member Mehriban Badalova, and the assistant to the Chairman of the Congress Anna Pynzaru.
Emin Agalarov held individual photo sessions with each student, providing personalized autographs.
The students performed the iconic song “Azerbaijan” for Emin Agalarov, who also joined the children in their performance, creating a symbolic moment that reflected a deep love for the historical Motherland, the affinity among generations, and an enduring pride in Azerbaijani roots.
Afterwards, the students attended the artist’s concert as special guests, where they enjoyed a masterful performance of their favorite hits.
Expressing their gratitude, representatives of the Moldova Azerbaijanis Congress said: “A few moments of sincere communication often carry a weight that formal speeches cannot match, leaving a profound impact on a child’s heart. Today, thanks to Emin Agalarov, our children have gained such unforgettable moments.”
