Armenia considers it important to expand energy cooperation with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint press conference following his meeting with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Yerevan, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
"I consider it important to expand cooperation in the energy sector, including the construction of electricity transmission lines, as well as the development of energy connections with neighboring Türkiye and Azerbaijan. This could contribute both to energy security and to the green transition," the Armenian Prime Minister said.
Pashinyan also stressed the importance of Armenia's participation in the Black Sea submarine electricity cable project and emphasized that Yerevan is interested in strengthening cooperation in the field of digitalization.
