The first meeting of the Technical Committee of the OPEC+ Charter of Cooperation (CoC) is underway in Baku, bringing together senior officials from OPEC member states and partner countries to discuss the future of energy cooperation.
The meeting is attended by a high-level delegation led by OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais, while Azerbaijan is represented by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Representatives from OPEC member countries and nations participating in the Charter of Cooperation are discussing prospects for collaboration in the energy sector amid the evolving global energy landscape.
The election of the Technical Committee's chair is also expected to take place during the meeting.
