Russia has extended temporary restrictions on fuel exports through January 31, 2027.
Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that under the decision, a ban on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and other petroleum products will take effect on August 1.
However, beginning September 1, the restrictions will no longer apply to diesel fuel, marine fuel and gas oils exported directly by Russian producers.
The government said the measure is aimed at maintaining stability in the domestic fuel market. Exports under international intergovernmental agreements and for humanitarian assistance authorized by the government will remain exempt from the restrictions.
