Parviz Shahbazov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, met with Zhang Chuanjiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
“During the meeting, we exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the Azerbaijan-China energy partnership,” Minister Shahbazov said on X.
The CNOOC representatives expressed the corporation’s interest in the energy projects implemented in Azerbaijan.
The sides reviewed the potential cooperation in oil and gas, green energy, as well as potential energy projects in the Caspian Sea.
