Baku, October 27, AZERTAC
“Croatia and Azerbaijan gained independence in the same year and share similar experiences regarding the events in Dubrovnik and Garabagh,” said Ivo Josipović, former President of Croatia and a member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, during a plenary session entitled “Culture at the Centre: SECUREd Pathways to a Shared Future,” held as part of the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
According to him, both regions, devastated by war, are now flourishing again.
Ivo Josipović called on Forum participants to visit both regions and see their development firsthand.
