On October 22, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held talks in Baku with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna, who is on an official visit to the country.

According to Caliber.Az, the ministers held both private and extended-format meetings, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a post on X.

Discussions focused on strengthening political dialogue and expanding reciprocal high-level visits between the two nations.

Bayramov and Tsahkna also explored ways to deepen economic cooperation, including boosting trade and investment, and enhancing collaboration in the digital economy, renewable energy and connectivity sectors.

The two sides exchanged views on regional developments and the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. They also reviewed the outcomes of the Washington Summit held last August, describing it as a significant milestone in post-conflict normalisation efforts.
