Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico held a meeting in Yerevan on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.
Axar.az informs that Zelensky shared the information on his X account.
"Ukraine is open to constructive dialogue with Slovakia and is interested in developing strong relations.
We discussed cooperation across various areas and holding a government meeting in the format of an intergovernmental commission in the near future," he wrote.
The discussions also covered plans for reciprocal visits between Kyiv and Bratislava, with both sides agreeing that their respective teams will coordinate the schedule.
"We also addressed Ukraine’s EU membership. Importantly, Slovakia supports Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and is ready to assist us on this path. I am grateful for that," Zelensky added.
