Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed two Tu-142 military aircraft and an Iskander tactical missile system during a nighttime strike on a Russian military airfield in Taganrog, Russia, on May 30.
Axar.az informs, citing Ukrinform, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi announced this on Facebook and published a video of the operation.
"Unmanned Systems Forces drones destroyed an Iskander system and two Tu-142 aircraft at a military airfield in Taganrog, Russia, on the night of May 30," Brovdi said.
He noted that the Tu-142 is a long-range maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft developed from a strategic bomber platform.
