Georgia is placing special emphasis on expanding its relations with other countries.
Axar.az reports that Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze made the remarks while speaking to journalists in Singapore.
He noted that Georgia is actively working to strengthen its international partnerships, including with countries in Asia.
"We have had many important visits and meetings. In addition to the Central Asian countries, we have close ties with our neighbors Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkiye, and we want to develop these relations even further," he said.
The prime minister added that Georgia's strategic geographical location makes it important to make full use of its position.
"We also have free trade agreements with many countries, which provide a strong foundation for attracting them to develop economic relations with Georgia," he added.
