A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck off the coast of the US state of Alaska, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The agency said the epicenter was located about 99 kilometers (62 miles) southeast of Atka, while the quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
