Two people died in a head-on collision between a passenger car and a truck in the Shabran district, Azerbaijan.
The accident took place on the Baku–Guba–Russia state border highway, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of a Renault passenger car crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
Both victims died at the scene from their injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
