In Colombia, a rebel group called "Carlos Patiño" has taken 57 soldiers of the national army hostage.
Axar.az informs the Colombian Ministry of Defense shared this on its X.
“Today, four officers and 53 professional soldiers have been deprived of their freedom against their will. This act is not only a blatant violation of their fundamental rights but also an open affront to the Colombian state,” the ministry stated.
