During a meeting with intellectuals held by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during his visit to South Khorasan Province, a poet from the city of Birjand, Morteza Hosseini Esfad, recited a poem about the president’s bachelorhood and loneliness.
Axar.az reports that the “Azad Iran” Telegram channel shared footage of the moment.
In the poem, delivered in a humorous tone, he said:
“Your bachelorhood and loneliness will kill me. I will scratch my arm for you, Pezeshkian.”
