Azerbaijan welcomes the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to reduce tensions and promote security and stability in the Republic of Yemen.
Axar.az reports that this was stated in a post shared on the X account of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was noted that the current situation in Yemen highlights the need for restraint and for prioritizing collective action, dialogue, and peaceful solutions.
“Azerbaijan once again reaffirms its support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen and highly values all initiatives aimed at protecting the interests of the Yemeni people in order to achieve lasting peace, prosperity, and development in the country,” the statement said.
