The presentation of the Hungarian edition of "Great disaster," authored by TURKSOY Secretary General and writer Sultan Raev, was held at the Hungarikum Liget cultural center in Lakitelek, Hungary.
Held as part of the Hungarian Culture Day celebrations, the presentation of the book was hailed as a milestone in strengthening cultural ties.
Released in 2026 by Antologia Kiadó publisher under the title “Özönvíz - Három kisregény,” the book was translated by József Goretity.
Addressing the event, Sándor Lezák, Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, noted that Raev’s writing masterfully intertwines the collective memory of the Turkic world with universal values.
The event concluded with an author-reader session where Sultan Raev highlighted his literary journey and the vital role of intercultural dialogue.
