Iranian police intelligence chief killed in attacks

Lieutenant General Golamreza Rezaian, head of the intelligence service of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police (FARAJA), was killed in the joint U.S.-Israeli airstrikes, according to Iranian media outlets.

On February 28, Israel and the United States attacked Iran, striking major cities and military bases. In response, Iran launched a missile strike on Israel. The attacks have continued into March 1.
