Norway Rules Out Deployment of Nuclear Weapons on Its Territory

Norway will not station nuclear weapons on its territory, the country’s Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, has said, as per Helsinki Times.

“We have a clear policy. No nuclear weapons will be deployed in Norway,” Støre said during a joint press conference of the prime ministers of the Nordic countries and Canada.

Støre’s statement was published in a video on the Associated Press’s YouTube channel.
