On March 20, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Axar.az informs during the call, the ministers discussed cooperation stemming from the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the security situation in the Middle East.
They expressed deep concern over the rising tensions in the region, stressing that any military escalation threatens not only regional security but also global stability. They highlighted the importance of increasing efforts to restore peace and stability.
The ministers also exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and Novruz, wishing for stronger unity and cooperation between their peoples and countries.
Additionally, they discussed other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
