India has thanked the Azerbaijani government for its role in facilitating the evacuation of Indian citizens from Iran.
Axar.az reports that the Indian Embassy in Baku stated on X: “we convey our sincere appreciation to the authorities of Azerbaijan for facilitating safe transit of Indian nationals from Iran.”
As of 10:00 a.m. on March 30, 196 Indian citizens had been evacuated since February 28 at 8:00 a.m. In total, 3,094 people have been safely evacuated during this period.
