In January–March this year, Azerbaijan exported more than 130,800 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Bulgaria, accounting for 2.57% of its total oil exports.
Axar.az reports, citing the State Customs Committee, that exports to Bulgaria rose by 65.05% year-on-year, or 51,560 tons.
The value of exports to Bulgaria reached $67.86 million, up 40.71% ($19.63 million) compared to the same period in 2025.
Overall, in the first quarter of 2026, Azerbaijan exported 5.077 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products, down 15.53% from a year earlier (6.011 million tons). Export revenues exceeded $2.5 billion, marking a 25.05% decline compared to January–March 2025.
In 2025, Azerbaijan supplied Bulgaria with 165,525 tons of oil and petroleum products worth $92.288 million.
