Kazakhstan, Turkiye agree to joint ANKA UAV production

Kazakhstan and Turkiye have signed an agreement to establish a joint venture for the production and maintenance of ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Axar.az reports, citing Anadolu, the agreement was among 13 deals concluded during President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s official visit to Astana, covering cooperation in sectors including defense, energy, infrastructure, education, media, and investment.

The agreement was signed following talks between President Erdogan and his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as the sixth meeting of the Turkiye–Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council held in the Independence Palace in Astana.

It was also noted that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is currently on an official visit to Kazakhstan.
