Slovak President Peter Pellegrini said his visit to Azerbaijan aims to strengthen cooperation in energy, trade, and investment between the two countries.
Axar.az reports that Pellegrini made the remarks in a post on X.
"Our two countries have built strong relations. This visit is an opportunity to turn that trust into closer cooperation in energy, trade, and investment," he said.
Pellegrini added that he looks forward to meeting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and other Azerbaijani leaders to advance bilateral partnership and create new opportunities for Slovakia.
It should be noted that Slovak President Peter Pellegrini will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on July 13 at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev. During the visit, talks are planned on developing cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, transport, and technology, as well as on the participation of Slovak companies in reconstruction projects in the liberated territories. A Slovakia–Azerbaijan Business Forum will also be held in Baku.
