Armenian envoy meets Carrefour executive to push retail exports to France

Armenia's Ambassador to France, Arman Khachatryan, has held talks with senior leadership at Carrefour to discuss introducing Armenian goods to the French retail market.

During a bilateral meeting with the international products director of the French retail giant, Ambassador Khachatryan explored avenues for importing and distributing Armenian-made goods through Carrefour’s extensive network, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The discussions focused heavily on the market competitiveness of Armenian food products, consumer preferences in France, and the regulatory standards and logistics procedures required for foreign goods to enter the French market.

Both parties expressed a strong commitment to maintaining an active dialogue and identifying promising cooperative avenues to facilitate trade.

Based in Massy, Essonne, Groupe Carrefour is one of the world's leading retail corporations, operating a global network of approximately 12,000 retail outlets across 30 countries.
