U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to order attacks on Iranian infrastructure if the Islamic Republic targets vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
Any Iranian attack on a ship in the strait using a missile, rocket, drone or any other weapon would prompt the United States to destroy one bridge or power plant, Trump wrote on Truth Social, Caliber.Az reports.
He said the potential targets could include infrastructure in or near Tehran, Iran’s capital.
“From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote.
