Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkiye, Rashad Aslanov, has presented a copy of his credentials to Mustafa Cem Gunduz, Deputy Director General of the Protocol Directorate of Turkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Axar.az reports that the diplomat shared the news on his X account.
Today, I was very pleased to present a copy of my Letter of Credence to Mr. Mustafa Cem Gunduz, Deputy Director General of the Protocol Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye,” the post said.
It should be noted that, by an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 24, R. Aslanov was recalled from his post as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Italy and appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkiye.
