Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have signed a series of documents aimed at expanding cooperation in key areas, including energy, finance, infrastructure, construction and manufacturing.
Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made the remarks in a post on X.
“Thanks to the political will of our heads of state, the intensive development of Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan relations gives strong impetus to diversifying our economic ties and strengthening our business partnership,” Jabbarov said.
According to the minister, a number of documents aimed at developing cooperation across various fields were signed between the two countries at the conclusion of the forum.
“At the conclusion of the 4th Interregional Forum between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, a series of documents aimed at developing cooperation across various fields were signed between our countries.
Covering priority sectors such as energy, finance, infrastructure, construction, and manufacturing, these documents will strengthen ties between business associations, unlock the private sector's full potential, and advance the implementation of joint projects,” he added.
