A planned visit to Moscow by US special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has been delayed.
Axar.az reports that a source told Russia’s TASS news agency on Sunday.
“This visit is unlikely to take place before the end of August,” the source said. “It means there are reasons to postpone it.”
A source previously told TASS that Witkoff and Kushner could visit Kyiv and Moscow by the end of August.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said earlier that President Vladimir Putin was ready to meet Trump’s envoys again, but questioned what proposals they would bring.
