Pashinyan: Armenia intends to begin EU membership application process soon

Armenia intends to begin the process of applying for membership in the European Union in the near future, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, Armenian media reports.

According to the Prime Minister, Yerevan is ready to proceed with the formal procedure for joining the European Union, and once the necessary steps have been prepared, the issue may be put to a referendum.
