Putin, Pashinyan to discuss Armenia’s European integration

Yerevan’s integration with Europe will be one of the topics discussed at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov made the remarks.

“We continue to insist that Armenia cannot aspire to EU membership while at the same time receiving enormous benefits from its cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union. This issue must somehow be resolved. And the President and the Prime Minister will undoubtedly discuss it,” Ushakov said.
