A tanker was struck by an unknown projectile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Axar.az reports that, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the incident occurred about 12 nautical miles north of Khasab, Oman.
No casualties or environmental impact were reported.
The source of the projectile was not immediately identified.
