Storm Boelo has brought severe winds, flooding and widespread travel disruption across the United Kingdom, leaving more than 80,000 customers without electricity.
Axar.az reports, citing the BBC, that the storm has disrupted rail services, forced flight cancellations and suspended ferry crossings, while several roads and bridges have been closed due to dangerous winds.
Scotland has been among the worst-affected areas, with coastal towns experiencing flooding and damage to roads and businesses. Boats have broken free from their moorings, while fallen trees have blocked roads and damaged vehicles.
The storm has also caused disruption in Wales and Northern Ireland. Wind warnings remain in place across parts of Scotland and northern England.
