The “Innovation Sprint” initiative was launched at the international event on “UN Governance Innovation Summit: Advancing Future-Ready Institutions,” held in Baku.
The initiative aims to identify pressing challenges in public administration and develop innovative, practical solutions.
During interactive sessions, nearly 100 international participants worked in eight teams to address key governance issues, analyzing specific challenges and proposing innovative solutions in areas such as public service delivery, inclusivity, climate resilience, public-private partnerships, and the future skills of civil servants.
The teams' proposals were structured around a common framework that included problem identification, proposed solutions, innovative approaches and expected outcomes. International participants exchanged experiences and collaborated on solutions to make public institutions more effective, inclusive, sustainable and future-ready.
At the final stage of the programme, all eight teams presented their proposed solutions at a plenary session.
