Turkish Minister of National Defense Yasar Guler has met with Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Colonel General Karim Valiyev during an official visit to Ankara, ahead of the Azerbaijani delegation’s participation in the “Defender of Peace – 2025” international exercises in Istanbul.
Chief of the Turkish General Staff Metin Gurak also attended the talks, Caliber.Az reports, citing the message of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense on X.

An Azerbaijani military delegation, led Valiyev, arrived in Istanbul at the invitation of Gurak. The Azerbaijani representatives will also attend the Distinguished Visitors Day of the Anatolian Eagle 2025 international air exercises in Konya city.
