Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially appointed Andranik Manukyan as Director of the National Security Service, solidifying his leadership at the helm of the country’s primary intelligence and security agency.
Pashinyan signed the decree confirming Manukyan’s appointment earlier this week, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
Manukyan had been serving as acting director of the National Security Service since June 18, following the resignation of former Director Armen Abazyan.
