Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, visiting Khiva, Uzbekistan, to attend the First Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Forum, met with Tanzila Narbayeva, Chair of the Senate of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis, the Press and Public Relations Department of the National Assembly told APA.
The meeting emphasized the forum’s importance and expressed confidence that it will become an effective cooperation mechanism between the parliaments. It was noted that the discussions and proposals made during the forum will further deepen cooperation between the legislative bodies.
The meeting also included exchanges on other mutually interesting issues.
