BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. The 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan on 3-4 July 2025. The Summit, dedicated to the theme “A New Vision for ECO for a Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Future” initiated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, was preceded by the ECO Youth Forum in Aghdam on 1 July, the ECO Women’s Forum in Lachin on 2 July and the 6th ECO Business Forum in Shusha on 2 July, Trend reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
Following the 17th ECO summit, the Khankendi Communique was adopted, which is a summary of the chairman.
