The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has suspended UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev (Russia) from fighting for 30 days due to a rib injury.

It should be noted that Makhachev sustained the injury during his fight against Ireland’s Ian Garry at UFC 330 in Philadelphia. Makhachev won by unanimous decision and retained his title.
Makhachev has a record of 29 wins and one loss in MMA. He leads the UFC rankings regardless of weight class.
