Sabah beat Shafa 3-0 in the fifth round of the Misli Premier League.
Axar.az reports that the reigning national champions secured the victory in the match played in Sumgayit.
Patrick M’Bina opened the scoring in the 25th minute, before Abdallah Khaybulaev doubled Sabah’s lead five minutes later. Veljko Simic scored the third goal in the 69th minute.
Sabah are second in the standings with 12 points, while Shafa are 10th with three points.
In other matches, Neftchi beat Imishli 3-2, while Kapaz defeated Gabala 1-0. Sumgayit and Shamakhi drew 1-1, Araz-Nakhchivan and Turan Tovuz drew 2-2, and Zira and Qarabag played out a 1-1 draw.
