Explosion reported near coast of Iran’s Jask

Sounds of explosions were heard near the coastal city of Jask in Iran’s Hormozgan province on Tuesday.

Axar.az reports, citing Fars News Agency, that local sources said the sounds came from the sea near the Sang-e Siah area and that two explosions occurred within a short interval.

The cause of the explosions was not immediately clear.
