“Large-scale reconstruction works are underway in Khankendi, with the first residents already returning to the city, as well as to the village of Karkijahan,” said Elchin Yusubov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, while briefing representatives of the diplomatic corps on restoration and reconstruction works being carried out in Khankendi.
“Today, 28,000 people live, work and study in Khankendi,” the Special Representative underlined.
Elchin Yusubov noted that representatives of the diplomatic corps would be briefed on the ongoing redevelopment and construction efforts in the city.
