Philippine Airlines cancels over 30 flights amid Typhoon Kalmaegi

Philippine Airlines, the country’s national carrier, has canceled 31 flights scheduled for November 6 due to Typhoon Kalmaegi, the airline confirmed on its official website.

“Several flights have been canceled on Tuesday, November 4, due to the inclement weather conditions brought about by Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi), which is affecting parts of Visayas and Mindanao,” the statement read.

The airline advised affected passengers not to travel to the airport. Travelers are encouraged to reschedule their bookings and may either apply the funds toward alternative tickets or request a full refund.
